Should racists be healthcare workers?

A nursing student at the University of St. Thomas, Ava Jendersee caught on camera on her way to a Turning Point USA event in Minnesota.

Video by @dwillmodel and I can hear my friend @activist___derek_ who she said that comment to.

The University of St. Thomas Student Nursing Association issued a public statement a few hours ago addressing a viral off-campus incident involving one of its nursing students, Ava Jendersee, outside a Turning Point USA event at the University of Minnesota

“We stand in solidarity with those affected by racism and discrimination.“

The video I recorded on October 14, 2026, outside Coffman Memorial Union at the University of Minnesota, where a St. Thomas nursing student was filmed shouting derogatory remarks “Go back to your own country BXTCH” during a protest surrounding a conservative event featuring Riley Gaines

“As future nurses, we are taught the importance of advocating for others and speaking up when something is wrong. We believe that responsibility extends beyond patient care and into our own community. As SNA leaders, we have brought the concerns shared with us to the attention of university leadership, and we appreciate that the university is taking these concerns seriously and addressing the matter through its established processes.” - St Thomas Student Nursing Association

Dear gross @msblairewhite,

"In the first six to seven weeks, fetal genitalia are essentially the same—there's no visible difference. Later, hormones guide development: if testosterone surges, tissue changes significantly and male anatomy forms; without that surge, development typically continues along the female pathway."

A viral video recorded outside a conservative event in Minneapolis on Wednesday has put a University of St. Thomas student in the spotlight

In the video, a woman, who has since been identified as a student, turns around and twice tells @activist___derek_ off camera: “Go back to your own country, b-—!”

“Why are you recording me?” she said, after realizing that I recorded her interaction with Derek

How the University of St Thomas responded
“The language heard in the video is inconsistent with the university’s values and convictions,” it said. “As a Catholic university, we have a responsibility to provide a welcoming environment for all and do not condone hateful language being used by anyone in our university community.”

What we don’t know:
The school did not identify the student or say what action it may take

I recorded this video outside a Turning Point USA event on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Riley Gaines, a conservative activist and former collegiate swimmer, was the keynote speaker

Turning Point USA is the conservative organization founded by Charlie Kirk. He was shot and killed at a similar event in Utah last year

🚨 EMERGENCY RALLY: TODAY, 4 PM, NEW LOCATION. 🚨

This morning, federal agents raided Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's [home/office], three weeks before an election where she's on the ballot.
For a decade, Trump has targeted Rep. Omar with rhetoric that fueled death threats. This year, he sent thousands of armed ICE agents into the Twin Cities to target Somali Americans. Last week, he told his supporters to "fight back."
Political disagreement never justifies intimidation. We are standing with Ilhan and with all of our Somali neighbors.
Bring a friend. Bring a sign. Keep it peaceful, and keep it loud. 💙

ID: Blue poster by Sean Lim with four blue monarch butterflies.
Flyer states: We stand with Ilhan. Solidarity rally - October 12th at 4pm. Powderhorn Park Rec Center
3400 15th Ave S
