Last week I received the Changemaker Champion award at the @ywcanyc Salute Gala, and honestly? The whole night I kept thinking about the people who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with. It’s built…brick by brick, room by room, every time someone makes space for you and says “you belong here.”

That’s what YWCA NYC does for girls every single day, and it’s why this one means so much.
