This past Tuesday was the last class ("Callback" week) in the 3 week installment of @actorreboot for this April. In these 3 weeks I got to put myself first, have the freedom to play and not worry about f***ing up in the room. I met some wonderfully talented people and got amazing advice from caring, informative industry professionals. I found a new dream role (shown here) and got to discover her in front of one of the casting directors from the agency who actually casts her! Might sound scary, but it was one of the most fun, liberating, exciting experiences I've ever had. @jaronmcole from @castingbyarc gave me really important and effective advice and guidance, which hopefully I'll get to bring into the room for Persephone one day!

If you are an actor at literally ANY point in your career, TAKE THIS CLASS! @philslove has created this incredibly wonderful safe space to work on old and new material and to PLAYYY. Him and his team make you feel seen and heard in ways we're really not used to in this industry. His guest directors are kind and enlightening and make you feel like you are their peers, not their inferiors.

Thank you so much to our week one director @actually_will_roland , week two director @themarissarosen and week three director previously mentioned @jaronmcole ! Thank you to @officialryanhenry for your expertise and for filming us each week, and thank you to our INCREDIBLE MD @markoleszko who can play literally anything in any key at any time. Truly grateful to have met and worked with every single one of you. Thank you so much for your time and careful attention to every person in that room. I will DEFINITELY be back! 💚💚💚

“Now”-Kimberly Akimbo

I walked into this month’s class extremely self conscious and nervous. But as the weeks progressed, I really listened to what the instructors were saying and found my way to showcase what I can do. This is the result of the last week of class.

@actorreboot Hosts classes featuring working Broadway actors and Casting agents at affordable prices…and that’s not all:

-You will literally be in the most comfortable room to screw up

-You will be nurtured on your weaknesses and empowered through your strengths

-You will be given new Rep that’s authentically you, with notes and direction that ACTUALLY impact you

-You will walk out of the class a more prepared actor/actress

-You will build a community of strong, likeminded people who uplift each other

If you pass on what @actorreboot is offering, you’re passing up on your own growth. Book the class.

I’m a few days late but it’s always great to be part of @actorreboot’s programs. I always end up learning a lot, and it’s never a bad thing to be part of an epic class of rising stars. Learning from @philsloves and @mcclurerob was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t recommend this program enough. Thank you for curating an environment where we can continuously play and grow.

I believe you shouldn’t have to break the bank, to break a leg! 👏🏻 Scene 4 of ✨Adapting the mindset of a Broadway Star✨

This episode is a special one because it reminded me, one thing…
✨ ALL actors need to train.
✨ ALL actors are students.
✨ ALL actors need to invest in their craft.

Took a class with @actorreboot & I love how the focus is on inclusivity & creating a safe space for actors to do their best work.

Truly healed something in my actor brain.

✨PS- Their next class with @mcclurerob is sold on for in person slots BUT you can live stream it!!!

@philsloves has created someone really special! (Not to mention he is a good, supportive, kind human.) I will always support small business that have their clients best interest at heart 🥰
