I thought buying a camera from 2000 would be cool and aesthetic but turns out cameras from 2000 look like they’re twenty six years old in a twenty six years old way (I just had to double check if it was 2026) and not a cool vintage film way so I spent a hundred dollars on trying to figure out this camera for them to turn out like theyre from an android although android cameras are kind of goated now #fightagainsttheappleoligarchy and I carried a fucking brick through Gainesville, Orlando, and Jacksonville for the plot only I guess but I guess that is the process of art because I am a serious artist (I say doubtedly) here are the best from my adventures with a camera the size of my forehead that every old man at the bar said “what the fuck is that huge ass camera you’ve got??” while they pointed and laughed at me and I told them profusely no it was cool and vintage but turns out I lied I am a liar and a poser the biggest liar ever maybe that’ll be my new hobby instead of photography. anyway. some of these I’m posting purely cuz I look good in them btw #younghoesrunfree

Congratulations to the company of our final mainstage play of the 25/26 season, The Visit! From the subtle foreshadowing to intricate characters, this show was chilling, thought-provoking, and a phenomenal way to close out our season!🐝 When asked about his experience working on The Visit, first year MFA @mack_debernardo said the following: "I really enjoyed my time in The Visit! In my experience, UF is one of the most professional programs around. All aspects, from production to design to directing were top-notch. senior (?) year (!) its my last day as a student of the sotd today and im feeling very grateful for this year. ive worked on SIX shows since august (thats a lot) AND i’m graduating early?? feeling accomplished and proud and so full of love for gainesville and for my peers and for this life im so so lucky to have.

"Alright" -The Visit, 2026 I couldn't have asked for a better debut at SOTD than this. The level of professionalism and talent that surrounded me was so incredible. Such an amazing experience to spend HOURS upon HOURS with these amazing people and grow alongside with them. I got so worried after seeing a bad production of this show on YouTube, but oh boy did we elevate it. The comedy added so much to the play, I'll forever cherish the moments I had with Irene, Connor, Alex HPRB, and everyone else. Also I got to sing and do athletic tricks in a PLAY? Awesome. Also during rehearsal I got bored and counted every word in the script that starts with "A", and there is 2627. Aren't you so glad you knew that. Only having 35 lines I didn't expect to be in the show much, but thankfully I was on stage for like 60% at least so that was lit. I'm just rambling incoherently at this point. Congrats cast and crew we killed it, here's to many more stupendous collaborations like these (I ran out of tags, but crew Selena Ella Lauren Lauren Heather Kresley Alex Amelia Shelby Allison Katherine Rei Victoria Chase etc. ur great).
