Meet Jacob, one of the newest tutors at AAC Tutoring! Jacob will be tutoring for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, and Anatomy & Physiology🌿

Jacob is a joint-enrollment nursing student at UAB and Wallace State Community College, where he was named the 2026 Student of the Year. He has experience tutoring college students across a range of subjects and especially enjoys teaching anatomy and physiology.

As a first-generation college student, Jacob understands how challenging it can be to work toward big goals without a roadmap. He’s excited to help students build confidence, make a plan, and find their own path.

His dream? Becoming a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric neurology. We’re so happy to have Jacob on the AAC Tutoring team! 💚

Most students need a better system for the ACT.

@aactutoring 21 Day Reading Challenge is designed to strengthen passage mapping, comprehension, timing, and critical thinking by giving students structured reading practice that is intentionally challenging.

Students learn how to identify the main idea, understand what each paragraph is doing, and use that information to answer questions more efficiently.

And the results can be dramatic.

Maddie went from an 18 to a 34 in Reading.

TJ went from a 12 to a 26.

Other AAC students have seen double-digit Reading increases after working through our curriculum.

The goal is not to memorize tricks.

It is to make ACT Reading feel easier because the student has learned how to actually understand and attack the passage.

If Reading is the section holding your student back, the 21 Day Reading Challenge may be exactly what they need.

Why do students leave larger tutoring companies for AAC?

AAC builds the foundation first, so students can move faster because they actually know what they are doing. Every lesson is built from Alexia Pandey’s curriculum, and every tutor must score a 34+ ACT and rank in the top 1%.

Our tutors are also young, relatable, and recently took the test themselves.

Francesca is a great example. She went from AAC student to a 34 ACT, then to UIUC Computer Engineering, and now mentors and tutors high school students through the same process.

And unlike traditional test prep companies, our Top Tier Student Bundle also includes mentorship and unlimited Common App editing.

If your student needs more than random practice questions, AAC is built differently.

@francescamonteleone_ application stood out because her achievements told a clear story.

She was a Model UN board member, captain of her tennis team, treasurer of Make-A-Wish, maintained a strong GPA, and earned a 34 ACT after working with @aactutoring .

That is what a Top Tier Student application looks like.

Strong academics matter, but so does showing leadership, initiative, consistency, and impact outside the classroom.

If your student is struggling to choose the right activities, build a competitive application, or raise an ACT score that is not where it needs to be, AAC Tutoring can help create the strategy.

Progress over perfection. 🌱

When @francescamonteleone_ came to AAC Tutoring after working with Huntington, she knew she still had more progress to make to reach her goals. With focused ACT prep, she raised her composite score from a 25 to a 34—including gains of 7 points in Math, 7 in Science, 8 in English, and 10 in Reading.

Then she worked with us on her Common App essays. Today, Francesca is happily enrolled at her dream school, studying computer engineering at Grainger Engineering—ranked No. 5 in the country for the field. 🧡💙

Her journey is a reminder that you don’t need a perfect starting point. Keep making progress, stay focused on your goals, and take the next step. We’re so proud of you, Francesca! 🎓✨

Meet Camila Correa, our incredible Medical Scholar from York Community High School! 💚

Camila is an honors student with a 4.7 GPA—the highest among all Alexia Scholars—and a passion for science, research, and medicine. At UIC, she researched drug resistance in cancer cells treated with targeted therapies, gaining experience in confocal microscopy, fluorescent image analysis, and experimental design. Her mentor ranked her among the top 5% of more than 60 students she supervised. 🔬

It has been an absolute pleasure helping Camila achieve her 34 ACT, get connected with research, and fundraise for Smile Train. We’ve loved watching her grow more confident at photo shoots and encourage her peers to study and take their ACT prep seriously. And she’s an amazing tutor on our team, too! 📚✨

Want to support Camila and Smile Train? Use code CAMILA at checkout to save $100 and have $400 donated to Smile Train on Camila’s behalf. 💙🤍
