Feeling drained as a high-achieving mom? 😩

Let’s talk about a simple strategy to reclaim your energy: Do, Ditch, Delegate! 💪

Each day, take a moment to assess your tasks:
- What MUST you do today?
- What can you DITCH completely?
- What can you DELEGATE to someone else?

This approach helps you focus on what truly matters while lightening your load. Remember, it’s okay to let go of some responsibilities!

Try it out and feel the difference! ✨

Why do we say yes to everyone else but struggle to say yes to ourselves? 🤔

Drop a comment if you’ve felt this!

Many of us have an inner critic that tells us we’re not worthy, not doing enough, and don’t deserve to prioritize ourselves.

For a while, being productive and perfect can feel protective. It might earn us praise and compliments, creating a sense of predictability in our lives.

But what happens when that strategy stops working?

It’s time to uncover why it’s so hard to say yes to ourselves. This transition is where the real work begins. Let’s explore new strategies together!

✨ Remember, you deserve to say yes to YOU!

"I’m doing everything, but why do I still feel like I’m failing?" 💬

If you’re a high-achieving mom, this sentence probably hits close to home.

In this clip, therapist and coach Annie Tam LPC @mendcounseling and @actualizeatelier breaks down why women who excel in their careers often struggle the most with the unpredictable nature of motherhood—and why standard self-care advice isn't enough.

The truth? You can’t optimize your way out of maternal burnout. You have to change the framework. 🧠✨

👇 Drop a 🙋‍♀️ in the comments if you’ve ever felt this invisible pressure.

Productive. Reliable. Put-together.
Cool personality — until it becomes the cage.
Annie Tam, LPC @mendcounseling @anniecatherinetam joins The Dallas Duo this week and she is not here to sugarcoat it. She works with high-achieving women and working moms who are quietly running on fumes while the world claps for their output.
If you’ve ever felt like your worth is tied to your to-do list… this episode is going to feel uncomfortably familiar (in the best way).
We talk about:

→ What high-functioning burnout actually looks like (hint: it’s not a breakdown)

→ Perfectionism + people-pleasing as survival strategies — and how to unlearn them

→ What emotional dysregulation feels like in your body before your brain catches up

→ The one coping mechanism women swear by that’s actually keeping them stuck
Annie is the real deal and this conversation doesn’t let you off the hook. 🙌
💬 Drop DUO in the comments and we’ll send it straight to you!

You look fine. You’re functioning. You’re getting it all done.
And you are exhausted in a way you can’t even explain to yourself.
We sat down with Annie Tam, LPC — @anniecatherinetam @mendcounseling therapist, working mom expert, and owner of Mend Counseling — to talk about the thing nobody warns you about: high-functioning burnout.
It doesn’t look like falling apart. It looks like you.
In this episode we’re getting into:

→ Why the women who “have it together” are often the most depleted

→ The hidden stress patterns keeping you stuck on repeat

→ Emotional regulation tools you can actually use between school pickup and your next Zoom

→ How to set a boundary without the guilt spiral that follows
This one hit different. 🎙️

✨my week in a wink✨

Wrapped up Valentine’s with my favorite boys, got the clear to close (the best three words 👏🏼), chased a few off-markets, squeezed in some networking, and soaked up toddler time in between it all.
Business + babies = my kind of balance
