Integrative Movement Science 3
in person immersive ✅

This past week was a reminder, amplifier, and deep look inside (literally and metaphorically!)

Getting my hands back on bodies feels SO GOOD.
Since moving from Reno last April to living out of bags and traveling internationally for half the year, then landing in Tahoe longer than expected, led me to live by the excuse of “not yet”

The most destructive words to mastery,
is choosing to discontinue seeking

I’ve used this excuse as a crutch until i was again in the perfect timing and place, until it felt “better”..

As with any skill that takes your hands,
it requires dedicated practice.

Having worked as a contractor at an Anytime Fitness for 3 years gave me the best space; it allowed me to learn from the @chekinstitute and immediately apply it! I was assessing around 8-10 bodies every month for a couple years and it is that exact method that allowed me to become a skilled practitioner.

I’m still skilled with my hands 😉

And, I know I have work to put in.

I’ve been reminded of the pure joy i receive getting to listen to what is causing someone pain / frustration, and apply what I’ve learned + intuitively feel to assist them at an integrative and holistic level.

With well over 50+ measurements, the information we receive from the body is impeccable. One of the most intelligent creations is your human vessel, and it is one of the things we often abuse, overuse, or deny consistent nourishment.

This can shift if we are open and willing to begin asking different / more accurate questions about our mental, emotional, spiritual, nutritional, general life side of things!

The body is constantly working to HELP you live in the pattern you do. To change the body, we can change the pattern.

Long story long, saying yes to the biggest truth in my heart has been my greatest discovery; and I refer to this “work”. I’m eager to build up my clientele here in the Central Coast of California, and remind people just how powerful their body-minds are.

Eternally grateful to have found @paul.chek works and be lucky enough to learn first hand from him at the @chekinstitute !

Aho to all who choose this path 🩵
