We were honored to host the Abilene Christian University Speech-Language Pathology group last week in Belize! 🇧🇿✨

Together, they conducted over 30 speech and language evaluations across Belize City, Orange Walk, and Ladyville, helping expand access to communication services while creating meaningful connections with local families and communities.

Thank you Jesus for bringing me to ACU. Thank you for all of the memories and friendships I’ve made over these past 3 years. I have had my fair share of rough patches over the years, but everything happens for a reason. God has and will continue to bless me with bigger and better opportunities. My time during my undergrad has truly been a blessing. I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m grateful that I get to continue my time at ACU for 2 more years. Long live ACU undergrad! Go wildcats! 💜

Truly can’t thank God enough that we all chose to go to a little Christian college in Abilene when we were 18!!

These girls have shaped me, challenged me, and inspired me to be a better friend and Christ follower!! Not ready to do life without them every day!

ACU’s Interprofessional Education Event: Texture Day equips our health professionals graduate students for hands-on work in a collaborative team environment. The outcome of these events provides highly effective patient-centered care. This event focused on each disciplines focus on safe, swallowing techniques.

Better care starts with collaboration 🤝

At this Interprofessional Education event, OT and SLP students learned from each other’s expertise — from transfers and adaptive equipment to cognition, oral hygiene and safety awareness. We’re preparing future clinicians at ACU to work together for the good of their patients.
