Yeah… they’re serious. 😤🏐

The athletes showed up to Media Day locked in, and that same energy is taking over gyms across Indiana all season long.

So consider this your reminder: GO TO THE GAMES.

Early morning workout before school season starts with a couple state runner ups. Just working on DS/PIN combo stuff, and serve receive. Can never get too much of that. Good luck to @plainfieldvolleyball this season and my buddy @moses_cung. Congrats to Evie as well, at the time of filming this she was invited to @usavntdp

🔑 Dancing?
No joke the amount of high performing athletes that dance between reps bewilders me. Must be the tech.

I’m so happy and grateful to be at my new school, surrounded by new teammates and so many new opportunities. I’m excited to make new and positive memories and bonds that can’t be broken. So happy that I’ve made this change because I feel like I’m exactly where I am supposed to be.❤️

This one was a blast!

Couple things that these two are great at….

🔑 Versatility
Be skilled at everything! Good volleyball players aren’t just good setters or hitters, they can do it all!

🔑 Laugh
I know I say this a lot, but volleyball is so fun when you seek the happiness in it.

How do I say goodbye to a group of girls who made this year so easy. How do I put into words how special this year was & how they made each day enjoyable. They grind, they make each other better, they want to be in the gym. You don’t get that often from all 10 players.

76-5. 76 wins and only 5 losses. When I think about that I am still blown away. The record is not what I’ll remember though. I’ll remember the laughs, the enjoyable moments that made coming into the gym every day worth it.

This is a special group. Not because of me and how I coach, but because of the standard they all hold each other at. They were a great team before me and they will be a great team (& players) after me. Luckily for me it was just my time to have them. They will never truly understand what they did for me this year. Coaching is a lot. I know all my fellow coaches understand the toll it takes on your daily life. The stress, the worry, the pressure. But that is why I love it. That is why this group made every moment worth it.

A 5th place finish at nationals in the 16 open division is something to be so proud of. I had to remind not only myself about that but also the girls. They wanted more, they wanted the podium and to have a shot at a national title. I wanted that for them with every fiber of my being, and I truly thought we could do it. We fell a little short and that’s ok. It doesn’t dismiss what they did the year and it doesn’t make me any less proud of them. I truly have never been so emotional after a loss. I didn’t want this season to end but I’m happy for the time I got with them.

This group will forever hold a special place in my heart. 16 Purple Reign, I’ll love you forever. 💜
