8 book cover designs for @hellomanouchka’s project, “Singleness is a Piece of Cake.” 🍰📚📕📗📘📙📔  We have been collaborating with Manou for years and it’s our absolute privilege to help give visuals to her first book project.

Covers are important, we most definitely judge books by them. They’re the front door to the content inside.

But, to be fair, it was easy to put together having @itskarielys creative direction and @yesi.fun’s beautiful photography. Threw some Avant Garde with some color palettes that matched the rhythm of the images and we had a few strong options.

Putting this make time workshop together…the part where I introduce myself so I think : maybe I should put a pic of the studio for context? And well that took me down memory lane

We started ACVDO Co 10 years ago. With very little idea of what that meant other than “making beautiful things.” These pictures are from 2016 our friend @yesilaver took them … she’s always done such a beautiful job of capturing our moments. Our first studio space @madeatthecitadel - a literal closet haha. Man we made the most of that tiny spot.

It’s humbling to see the trajectory the Lord has put us on. We’ve had a lot of fun. We tried a lot of things. Jumped off many cliffs. We’ve served many clients, big and small. Our studio has left legacy here in Miami through our branding work + creative direction. What an honor to do it with my life partner.

I don’t know what the next 10 will look like, but I’m excited and hopeful and obviously a little scared because God is big and I’m not.

Angel I love you. I’ll jump any cliff with you. I believe in you and all the magic God has put inside of you. I know you feel the same way about me. It’s a God dream.

Friends, this time of year brings about a lot of beginnings, transitions, uncertainty, excitement etc. whatever vibe ur on, trust God w all ur heart. His dreams are so much better than ours.

We launched this company 7 months before we got married. It was an act of faith, a belief in ourselves and calling in creativity. It’s been a journey that has blessed us. Thank you to all you have cheered us on, counseled us, worked w us, trusted us, paid us haha etc

We love u! & we’re grateful! Cheers to another 10 making beautiful things
