Dear Diary,

September: Reclamation.

About a year ago, I told you how much I care for the film industry and how much I would love to contribute more to it. I wrote about the Zurich Film Festival like it was a far distant possibility for me. But what truly is distance when time passes at the speed of light?

As it turns out: Zurich Film Festival ✓

I am utterly grateful to have been a part of it. But September was so much more than one long-awaited moment. Somewhere between new beginnings, unfamiliar routines and finding my footing again, I started making room for the parts of myself I had unintentionally, or perhaps with some trepidation, placed on hold.

I reignited with my creativity, hidden joys and, upholstered by all of this positivity, I was fuelled by determination to regain what I had lost after taking a break from the athletic pursuits that had once been my night and day. The importance of community has made itself known to me and has taken root within me. And so the balance between life and dreams slowly walks hand in hand.

Perhaps that was what September meant to impress upon me: progress does not always ask us to become someone new. Sometimes it simply returns us to the parts of ourselves we had forgotten how much we yearned for many moons ago.🖤

I spent a long time believing that the life I wanted would begin once everything was perfectly in place. September reminded me that life seems far more intrigued in meeting us while we are already moving. Determination truly is the unbreakable running target. One conversation, one invitation, one decision to show up and suddenly something that once felt distant is simply part of your reality.

There is still so much I want. So many stars I am reaching for. But for the first time in a while, my everyday life and the life I dream about meet up for matcha or an @adadrinks at the same table. ⭐ 🍵

And I couldn’t be more grateful.

October? Bring it.

To the people and moments that made September a chapter worth underlining. 🫂

That’s all for now.
xoxo, S.E.

Jan./1. Feb.! ✨

Wenn du also gerade denkst: Da zieht’s mich hin – I want my Energy back - dann melde dich subito an, bevor die Plätze wieder vergeben sind!

Remember how 33 beautiful humans gathered to celebrate KARMA, movement, connection, and community?

These are some real and raw moments: fragments of conversations, glimpses of peace, traces of connection forming and thriving.

What a joy it was to simply be together.

More to come, some wonderful events are already in the making for you 🌿
