I’ve put this off for longer than I should’ve because of how emotional I get every time I try to write it. Walking away from Tonkawa softball is harder than I ever imagined because this program has given me so many unforgettable memories and friendships. Knowing that I’ll never put on this jersey to play high school softball again is truly bittersweet. I’m beyond grateful for every memory, lesson, teammate, coach, and opportunity this program has given me. Tonkawa softball will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m so proud to have been a part of its journey. I’m excited to watch this program continue to grow and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Although I’m sad to see my High-school softball career come to an end, I’m excited to begin my next journey as a Maverick. Here’s to the future—Go Lady Bucs! 🖤🧡🏴‍☠️
