❇️ If you are pushing your hands, you are losing power. Verbal cues can help, but at the end of the day we need reps, and the right kind of reps. I’m a huge believe in the @provelocitybat and my hitters have been using this tool for years.

This tool helps immensely with connection, sequencing, and in this case-barrel turn. If you’d like a discount shoot me a DM and I’ll hook you up 🤙🏼

Dads, comment the word “HIT” below and let’s build your athlete a FULLY CUSTOM hitting program. No more cookie cutter BS. No more random YouTube videos. I will build a plan specifically for YOUR player from scratch.

We evaluate, we assess, and we build 🤙🏼

Shoutout to @ashlynnwadkins2030 @ben22bradley22 @maxq_34 @provelocitybat

So grateful for an incredible Little League experience over the past 8 years playing with amazing friends. I’ll keep working hard and look forward to moving from blue/orange SRV to the green/gold (San Ramon Valley High School) in a couple years!

The fact I have full time job as a hitting coach isn’t because I’m smart. It’s because I’m not restarted (yes, you read that right), like much of my “competition.”

I have had HUNDREDS of athletes come to me saying that they went to hitting coaches that ruined their hitting. Careful who you send your kids to folks.

PS, the results of my athletes speaks for themselves. I don’t have to ride the nutsack of a grown man to demonstrate my shit…I don’t pimp out my players to earn $…unlike certain folks 💁🏻‍♂️

For context, the first video is a game swing vs a practice swing. An old man on the internet posted it trying to troll and prove something…too bad that didn’t really work out 💁🏻‍♂️😅

I GOT CURSED 😳💀

Everything was totally normal… I was at SRV with @adam.ricks.37 just running drills, having a good day…

Then all of a sudden… the #Danhausen theme song starts playing 😈

He shows up… disappears… shows up again… 👀

And then I hear…

“YOU... ARE.... CURSED” 💀

Next thing I know… BOOM… ball hits me in the head 🤕

I’m not saying it was him… but it was DEFINITELY him 😂

Never mess with Danhausen 😭

When the count is in YOUR favor (0-0, 1-0, 2-0, 3-1)… that’s when you use your A SWING 💪

That means swing hard, be aggressive, and try to do damage!

But when the count is tough (0-2, 1-2, 2-2, 3-2)… you gotta switch to your B SWING 👀

That means be aggressive and stay short, and just find a way to put the ball in play!

Good hitters don’t just swing the same every time… they adjust to the situation ⚾️🧠

That’s how you win at bats!

Great exercise to add to any workout routine or hitting routine. You can use the medicine ball interchangeably with a water bag as well.

For best results, perform this exercise prior to your batting practice for 3 sets of 6 reps. This is also a great power exercise to implement into your plyometric training routine 🤙🏼
