A day in Manchester. Some days in Manchester you don't ask for much

You listen to the trams and buses driving past. You see a postie working through the morning, a red van tucked into a quiet corner. A Chinatown storefront with boxes piled outside, the door opening and closing throughout the day.

Canal water catching the light, narrowboats drifting past glass towers and old brick.
A walk along Oxford Road, half-sheltered from the rain
A seat on the tram, watching the world go by.

It’s nothing out of the ordinary and that’s exactly the point.

Because Manchester isn’t just in the big moments.
It’s in the pauses, the passing scenes, the in-between hours where not much happens… and yet everything does.

The kind of day where you don’t expect anything and somehow end up with a small adventure anyway.

Thank you to the photographers who captured the everyday here in Manchester:

We came, we drank, we shucked!

An epic pub takeover thanks to the teams at @thegeorgepublichouse London and Manchester’s @bayhorsetavern. Doing things a little bit differently is our style, and we were thrilled to bring The George’s signature @glendaloughdistillery Irish Coffees and oysters to the good people of Manchester.

Cheers to everyone who came down for it ☕🦪🪩
