Had 18 and some change today at the Jack hunt memorial tournament on Hartwell. Giving us a nice 4th place finish!!! It was a super tough but super fun day. @hunterwhitefishing and I had some really funny moments through the day, but it just reminded us he is looking down on us and laughing with us through our little adventure of a day! Congrats to @adam_seagle for his 3rd place finish also!!!
Caught most of our fish on a wake bait and the ole glida! 😜 can’t beat that bite! Those @fxcustomrods put in some work!

Reflecting on the past few years, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey that college has been for me. It has been a time of growth, learning, and self-discovery that I will forever cherish.

What started as uncertainty and doubt about my future after high school has blossomed into a rich and fulfilling experience thanks to the guidance and support of so many amazing individuals in my life. From my family and friends who have been my rock through it all, to my college team and mentors who have pushed me to reach for the stars, I am truly blessed to have such a strong support system.

The friendships I have made during this chapter of my life have transcended mere camaraderie and evolved into a true sense of family. These individuals have stood by me through thick and thin, celebrating my successes and lifting me up during my failures. I am forever grateful for their unwavering loyalty and love.

The turning point for me came when I discovered my passion for the great outdoors through fishing. This simple hobby opened up a world of possibilities, leading me to explore new places, meet new people, and ultimately discover more about myself than I ever thought possible. It has been a transformative journey that has shaped me into the person I am today.

As I look back on where I started five years ago, I am amazed at how much I have grown and changed. My dedication to preserving and protecting the environment has only strengthened over time, fueling my desire to make a positive impact on the world around me. I am excited for what the future holds, knowing that I have a strong foundation and a supportive network of people cheering me on every step of the way.

To all who have played a role in my college experience - whether big or small - I extend my deepest gratitude. Your presence in my life has made all the difference, and I am forever thankful for the love and support you have shown me.

I wrapped up my final college fishing tournament this week on Lake Hartwell with a total weight of 22.38 pounds. The past four years have been filled with ups and downs, but ending my college fishing career on my home lake of Hartwell was a gratifying experience. Despite facing various challenges throughout my college fishing journey, I’m proud to have persevered and completed this chapter of my life. Now, I’m setting my sights on graduation and looking forward to competing at a higher level in the future. I’m grateful to all those who have supported me on this journey, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

2023 can be summed up in 1 word: Inconsistent. Some good tournaments, lots of bad ones, and lots of mechanical issues. But through all of it, I had an amazing year with my best friends catching a few fish. Can’t wait to get back at it tomorrow on the Harris Chain.

@matthewmasseyfishing and I fished the @pbccollege_tournament_trail classic on lake hartwell this weekend and didn’t do as good as I had hoped. A few days prior to the tournament I found out my boat was in really bad shape and decided to do a temporary fix on it and then during practice I blew my motor which ended my practice day very early. These still aren’t an excuse to why we didn’t catch them but definitely was a factor.

Congrats to @adam_seagle and @laneclark_fishing for getting the win!

Now is time to get ready for the winter/spring season!

Blessed weekend on the home pond to send out the 2023 College season with a bang!! Myself and @adam_seagle took home the @pbccollege_tournament_trail classic title this weekend with 36 and some change total🤟🏻
It’s been a wild fall and year with so many close calls this one just makes it all worth it, Good lord above sure did watch over us for this one. He is good!
We’ve got one more obstacle ahead and that’s the Bassmaster Team Championship on the Harris chain in Florida this week, time to finish the year on a high note, the amount of support behind us is by far the best no way I could do it without everyone!!
