So here we are. Round 50. How? Well I know how, but I still can’t quite believe it.

I remember when I was first diagnosed, freaking out about the prospect of the six planned rounds ahead of me. And now, we’re at 50.

From the brutal chemotherapy that made me nauseous, lose feeling in my hands and feet and made my hair fall out, to the immunotherapy and targeted therapy that’s made my bones ache and my moods swing.

But we made it.

Even though my treatment isn’t over (it never will be) I wanted to mark the occasion with a little cake. As it turned out, another patient owns a cake store and I scored an extra slice of delicious cake that was so much better than my Woolies chocolate special.

But that being said, cutting into my $7 cake marked a sense of occasion. It was satisfying and momentous. I rarely ever complain and I rarely ever try and draw attention to my situation but today I deserve it.

To make it through 50 gruelling rounds is definitely something I wanted to celebrate with my mum, who is often by my side, and just some of the nurses that have kept me alive the past two and a bit years. And to everyone else (some who are total strangers) who have left encouraging messages of support over the years I’ve sat in the chair, this cheap but moist and delicious cake is also for you.

Happy 50 rounds to me. Spoiler alert: there won’t be a cake at 51. #FCKCNCR @bowelcanceraustralia

It wouldn’t be another event without a series of media wall moments. We brought Disney+ to Perth and Perth welcomed us with open arms. Huge congratulations to the team on launching @shipwreckhuntersaustralia on @disneyplusau TONIGHT! 🛟 ⚓️

Round 20. Back on my bullshit. After a few weeks break it’s time to be back in the chair getting juiced up once again. Am I happy to be back? Yes and No. Yes because I’m happy to be back on a treatment that is helping me suppress the nasties. No, because it’s a return to a life with limitations. But we continue on. 👊🏼 #FCKCNCR

I’m still pinching myself! Last week I was invited to the @disneyaunz Melbourne office to celebrate the official launch of @shopdisneyaunz, and to see a sneak peek of some of the merchandise 😍🥰 It was without a doubt a night to remember, surrounded by stunning Disney products, and amazing Disney fans, all of whom were so excited to be there.

Check out the video to see the products - I couldn’t believe the range! The @loungefly’s were definitely my favorites, but I now have a whole new obsession - Disney ears! I’m not sure where I’m going to store them, but I definitely need allllll the ears, especially the Wanda and Space Mountain ears that I alternated wearing all night 😂🤣

✨🌟💫✨A little look inside the @shopdisneyaunz Launch Party that I was delighted to be a part of this week at Disney HQ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The theme was 20th Anniversary of Lilo and Stitch 🌴🌺 I still remember watching this film on VHS📼 with my little sister and soaking in that amazing Elvis soundtrack 🎶 But being able to watch it again in the official Disney “El Capitan” theatre (right next door to an office casually labelled “the Millennium Falcon”, mind you 😍), was next level 🥹 for a dork like me!

We were treated to champagne🥂 , @noshaustralia poké bowls 🍲 and a build-your-own bubble tea station by @blackpearlmelbourne 🧋✨ Lorcie even got his own goodie bag full of Disney Store baby gear! 🥰🍼👶🏼😍

It was simply magical spending the night with the best food🍤, drinks🧋, merch👚 and company 💕🥂✨💫 A huge thank you to the whole @disneyaunz team for bringing us together after the huge weeks/months/years lead up and all the effort that has gone into launching #ShopDisney back in Australia 😍🌈🏰🥂💫✨

ICYMI: @shopdisneyaunz has officially opened and to help celebrate the launch the @disneyaunz team kindly invited me to a special event at Disney HQ showcasing some of the products in store and up and coming! ✨
We were treated to make your own bubble tea thanks to @blackpearlmelbourne and poké bowls from @noshaustralia (I had the crispy eggplant and omg, yum! 🤤) We then headed into the El Capitan theatrette for a special 20th anniversary screening of Lilo & Stitch!
It was such a fun night and I cannot wait to see what else ShopDisney has in store for us! 🛍
