Isn’t it unnecessarily risky? Won’t he hurt himself? I’d wait until he’s older. What if he falls?!

I’ve collected an incredible number of similar comments over the past two years. And not only from people who avoid exercise, but also from people who do exercise and, in my eyes, should understand not only the physical but also the psychological side of development.

Unfortunately, 99% of people look at a child’s development through the worst filter - and that is FEAR.

But if you look at it from the other side, you’ll realize that every uttered “don’t fall,” “be careful” or “slow down” is transformed in a child’s ears as - “Daddy doesn’t trust me, I’m not good enough, they’re afraid of me because I’m weak”

And if he listens to it for a long time, he’ll believe it and become exactly that.

And the smaller the child, the less it’s about words. A baby does not distinguish the meaning of words until a year. But your attitude and energy are decisive for him.

Every child wants to discover the world, everyone wants to test where his limits are. But if he looks at a parent, at his role model, at his support and his safe haven, who has death in his eyes. He will have a hard time developing his body or mind.
