Today marks the final performance of the 2026 summer season at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, and the close of my first full season as Artistic Director. @arrowrocklyceum I could not be more proud of the magical, inspiring, ambitious work we created together this summer. To every actor, director, designer, musician, technician, crew member, staff member, volunteer, artist, and collaborator who brought their talent and heart to Arrow Rock this season: thank you. You made this place come alive again and again, and I am so deeply grateful for the artistry, generosity, courage, humor, and sheer hard work you brought to every production. Leaving New York City, the place that has been my home, my community, and the center of my life and career for so many years...to take a chance on this job was strangely, not a difficult decision. It was a leap of faith of course, but at the same time I felt led here. There were certainly moments when I wondered if I was brave enough to make it, of course. Arrow Rock, this theatre, this community, and the remarkable people I have had the privilege of working alongside have welcomed me in ways I could never have imagined. I came here hoping I could contribute something. I never expected how profoundly this place would give something back to me. This first full season has challenged me, stretched me, surprised me, and filled me with enormous gratitude. One final performance. One extraordinary season. So many memories I will carry with me. I'll carry them with me always. No other summer can be the first.
