Perpetually snarky Otrovert Xennial.
Dinosaurs ruled Earth for so long, some were already fossilized while others were still walking the planet.

All I Could Say Was ‘I’m Sorry.'
It's one thing to read about #jeffreyepstein , #virginiagiuffre and the survivors from behind a screen. It's something entirely different to stand inside that vehicle surrounded by those documents and then look into the eyes of people for whom none of this is history, politics or another headline.
It's their life.
And maybe that's why I needed to go.
Maybe I needed, for just a few minutes, to remove the distance that a tv screen, my phone or a news article creates between us and something horrific.
Maybe I needed to stop reading about it and simply stand there and bear witness to it.
Or maybe some part of me really did need to see the proof with my own eyes.
I'm still not entirely comfortable admitting that, and I still don't completely understand why I felt compelled to be there.
Maybe I'm not supposed to.
What I do know is that I walked into the Bookmobile knowing what Jeffrey Epstein and the people around him had been accused of doing. I walked in knowing there were victims, survivors, investigations and mountains of documentation.
But knowing something and standing in the physical presence of its consequences are two very different experiences.

#FUCKCANCER
28 years of going to outdoor festivals finally caught up with me. I was diagnosed with skin cancer a few weeks ago after noticing a discolored mole on the back of my ear. The surgery to remove the area was a breeze. They removed a decent chunk though, and goddammit does it hurt now.
#skincancer is no joke, especially if you have a family history of cancer.
I'm going to tell everyone my ear was bitten off in the mosh pit at Benson Boone's Omaha concert. 🦈

Its rough when you get approved to shoot a show only to have things change last minute. Photographers, remember there's no guarantees in the biz. Like they say in the Army, "close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades"
