连理枝头喜鹊闹，才子佳人喜成家。百年共枕鸳鸯恋，堂前开满合欢花。 “Nothing else matters when I’m with you.”

Every love story is beautiful, but yours is our favourite. It was truly an honour for us to be a part of your special day.

When you want to incorporate a subtle touch of chinese culture into your beachside rehearsal dinner without killing the vibe, here's one way to do it... with a functional, personalised rice paper fan to curb that tropical August heat. Chinese calligraphy of 喜喜 (double happiness) + L.O.V.E. against blush pink watercolour brushstrokes by @lewind_calliholic. Photography by @adamong. Wedding planning by Adnes, @peakxperience.

Cheers to clear skies, ocean breeze, swaying palm trees, salty hair and sandy toes.

As wedding planners, we are always on the look out for wedding locations that tick all the right boxes. This resort ticked all the right boxes and has held a special place in our hearts since 2013! Back then, there was only a handful of 5-star resorts. The Nam Hai (now managed by the Four Seasons), Intercontinental Sun Peninsula and Banyan Tree Lang Co. We were the first Malaysian wedding planner and pretty sure our client was the very first Malaysian wedding couple to host a wedding in Da Nang. Eventhough the client eventually decided on another resort, Intercontinental is still our favourite. Just look at this effortlessly pretty pic by @adamong. Back then, resources were limited. Both the wedding and tourism sector in Da Nang was just at an infancy stage. We shipped in a container of props and flew in the flowers through a supplier we met in Hanoi, the alcohol and the tableware. Audio system didn't meet the mark so we brought them in from Ho Chi Minh. It took them 17 hrs drive by truck via the coastal road! Other than the AV, every other vendors were flown in. Communication was a major barrier at all levels. What made it worst was midway through the planning, Air Asia discontinued its flights to Da Nang and flight logistics added to the list of setbacks. Not only that, we were stranded for 2 nights due to Typhoon Nari. By the end of that 9 months of planning, we told ourselves “Da Nang, never again.” Well, never say never! When we came back to Da Nang in 2017, this sleepy town, in just those few years, has already transformed into a Class-1 city with an aim to achieve Smart City status. As we are back here again in 2018 and 2019, we revered at how seamless the planning has been especially for this wedding as locals are more sophisticated now and they understand the demands of the international market. Eventhough #wedding tourism has grown tremendously, this destination is still relatively well under the radar. So if you're looking for a place that is slightly off the beaten track but conveniently within 3hrs flight, consider Da Nang before it becomes overly commercialised. #weddingplanning #destinationwedding #weddingphotography #styledshoot #danangwedding

The first evening of celebration kicked off with a modern Vietnamese-style party by the beach. Hanging Vietnamese lanterns with fresh roses served as a welcome canvas cum photo backdrop for the guests. Live action stalls and food were housed in bamboo huts that formed a parameter around the intimate party with just over 50 of the couple's dearest family and friends.
