Check out the ads that made us stop scrolling this week. 👇

👶 @betcparis hypes Humankind 2 with a wild spot tracing thousands of years through nine births from a baby’s POV. Directed by CDs Benjamin Le Breton and Arnaud Assouline.
☁️ @air.hq sparks total internet confusion with a five-part series making people think Eric Toda was actually hired irl, only for him to quit hours later. A brilliant meta-satire on modern marketing slop.
🏟️ @fanatics hires Luke Wilson to lead a hilarious corporate town hall on why sports rewards beat free coffee. From @obb BOLDED.
🧠 Harrison Ford and Michael J. Fox trade witty banter to bust Parkinson’s myths in a heartwarming PSA from @maximumeffort.
🏈 @usbank teams top @nfl draft pick @fernandomendoza with a fluffy cloud sidekick to call smart money plays. From @barkley.okrp and director Adam Patch.

May at The Deli looked a little something like this:

●A live and digital event in Calgary.
●A coffee cupping ceremony with @jimmyvi at Cossette
●A sunny spot for @betrivers in Mexico City with our pals @paradigm_pr
●A downtown SPICEMAN takeover for @kfc_canada and @courageideas
●The Markup Marché pop-up for @TheOrdinary in Toronto with @uncommon.creative.studio
●A backyard @walmartcanada shoot with Director @adampatch and @cossette.en

Big thanks to the talented people who made every moving piece look easy.

Happy #CincodeMayo 💚🤍❤️

Just like the Mexican army said to the French...”We’re NACHO friend!”

Many thanks to @adampatch for his magical animation and his wife for her delicious storytelling 🙌💚

History of this BRILL animation:
“One night, in May of 2013, my wife got drunk and told me a hilariously bad joke. I recorded it on my phone as we were laying in bed. A few months later, on a lull between jobs, I decided to create an animation for it. What happened next, I never expected. The video blew up, getting love on HuffPost , @gawker, Reddit, among countless other sites. Today, the vimeo link has more than 12 million views. How’s that for a corny joke?”

Stills from an Amazon Auto spot I did with director @adampatch in Texas. The sun was dropping fast for our last wide shot but luckily we had the 9k handy and the condor ready for me to get in the basket and get the top shot, framing out the dusky park around us.
