Our Community Manager @adamwgreen_ speaks into why boundaries are important. Some things are worth tolerating, and some things just aren’t. When your boundaries are firm, they are respected. If you’re tired of your boundaries being overstepped, it’s time to draw a line in the sand. #boundaries #brotherhood #selfhelp

FAMILY. LOVE. INTEGRITY In January 2025, @brotherhood_goldcoast hosted a Vision Mapping event, where we were asked to visualise and meditate on the strongest version of ourselves. I cast my vision out to myself at 45. I saw myself as a man that I was proud of. I saw a family man who had peace, joy and love in his life. I stepped into that version of myself and asked “what are my values now, as this 45 year old version of myself?” The 3 core values my future self reflected back to my current self were: - Family - Love - Integrity Interesting, before entering this meditation my core values were: - Love - Integrity - Service I then asked myself, “well if that’s the vision, the goal of who I want to become, then why don’t I choose to embody those values in the Now?” In 2025, I have practiced prioritising these values in my life. I now have awareness that my relationships are a priority, through realising they are my driving reason for why I do anything at all. They are my prime mover for motion. My why. Practising to embody the values of my future self this year has made me far more conscious of attempting to strengthen the relationship of those that I can see there with me as the strongest version of myself in 15 years time. I say practice, because I’m not perfect, and integrating new values with priority, takes some unlearning to learn. I’m proud of how I’ve showed up on behalf of my future self, to become that man who I saw at that stage of 45. Those relationships and that man are what’s helping me to make my decisions today.
