Last Thursday, April 30th, An Eejit's Guide To Irish Rock dropped into Fibber Magees in Dublin for their Thursday Sessions @fibbermageesthursdaysessions
Performing live were Cork pop punk band On Paper Wings @opwband who play a wonderful set of original material and some covers including a cool version of Chappel Roan's "Pink Pony Club"
Check them out if they're playing near you!
Second up was Wicklow based oi punks Docland Riot @docland_riot , a newishly formed punk band who brought an amazing energy to the stage. Hugely recommend this band!
Alternative rock covers band Ad Astra @adastra_2026 were next, performing covers of alternative rock and grunge favourites. They had the audience members up on their feet and dancing!
Finally were Dublin metal/punk band Desperity @desperityband who have returned from a hiatus with a blistering blend of thrash metal and hardcore punk.
Thursday Sessions is on every Thursday at Fibber Magees in Dublin. Doors are from 8pm until late and it's pay what you want admission!
