A year ago last month, I performed two poems at the Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Dream Count Homecoming Tour in Lagos, organised by Narrative Landscape Press, her Nigerian publisher.

I tell you, it was unforgettable. I went up to the stage barefoot, as I often do, briefly introduced the poems, then launched into them, with a short pause for the audience to clap after the first poem.

Chimamanda called the second poem, "A Man Looks at Me", a feminist poem, said she liked it. <insert red cheeks from blushing too much>

Also, the audience's responses during the performance and all the feedback afterwards were a performer's dream.

On August 4th, which also happens to be my birthday, my wife @nkechiezeigbo and I celebrated a momentous occasion by renewing our marital vows. We have been blessed with 25 years of pure marital bliss, and I am truly grateful to have such an amazing life partner.

The entire event was beautifully captured by the talented team at @ayofemi.studios who handled the photography and videography with utmost professionalism.

We held our heartfelt ceremony at the stunning @kensingtontemple, creating a truly unforgettable ambience. After the ceremony, we continued the celebration at the lavish @milleniumgloucesterhotel, where our friends and family joined us in commemorating this special milestone.

One of the reasons we should be grateful to God is that he created angels to be his messengers for our sake. For some persons it comes as a surprise to say that the angels are our ministers but this is absolutely true. The angels in their office minister to us and help us in our needs if we request for their assistance from God.

This is more true with the archangels Sts. Micheal, Gabriel and Raphael.

Basically the Heavenly King has given us these archangels to assist us during our pilgrimage on earth.

Saint Michael is invoked as a great protector;
we are to seek his aid and intercession in times of spiritual warfare, this is because he has beem given the power to fight for us and for all our loved ones and to alsoprotect us from danger.

Saint Gabriel is a messenger of the Good News; he is invoke in moments when we need to listen to or share the word of God. His aid is sought in this way asking him to help us hear God's word devoutly, put it to act and to teach it with zeal.

Saint Raphael is the healing angel;
we usually ask him to take our need for healing
and that of everyone we know. He lifts the up to God's throne of grace and deliver back to us the gift of recovery.

When next you at in need call on God through the prayers of the Archangels and you will be glad you did.

Help us, O Lord,to realize more fully the reality of the archangelsand their desire to serve us.
Holy angels, pray for us.Amen.
