Some of the most meaningful parts of a wedding day happen in the little moments.

They’re found in quiet glances, joyful celebrations, heartfelt reactions, and the moments in between. ✨

Planning your wedding? I’d love to hear from you, email hello@ivoryhourco.com 🤍

From our founder part 1: Starting something new after 20+ years in the events industry is both exciting… and honestly, a little intimidating.

You’d think that after producing thousands of events, I’d have all the answers. The truth is, experience gives you confidence in your craft—but it doesn’t make taking a leap any less scary.

The EventTalk wasn’t created because I thought the industry needed another networking group. It was created because, after two decades in this business, I kept seeing the same need: a place where event professionals could openly share ideas, learn from one another, build real relationships, and support each other without the noise.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to learn from amazing people throughout my career, and now it feels like the right time to create something that brings those conversations to more people.

I don’t know exactly what this journey will look like a year from now. But I do know this: I believe in this industry, I believe in the people who make events happen, and I believe we’re better when we share what we’ve learned.

If The EventTalk helps even one planner, venue, vendor, or creative make a stronger connection, avoid a mistake, or discover a new opportunity, then it’s already worth it.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported this vision so far. Here’s to building something meaningful—together.
