Psych Night with The Harms! 🌿🔆🪄🍇⚡️🤎🍒
October 1, 8pm, @saharaloungeatx
Swipe left 😎
Join us for Psych Night presenting distinct sounds from Austin's rich psychedelic music scene,
every first Thursday

This month, bring your own vinyl edition! Enjoy the lush plant installations from Play to the Plants, soak up the true Austin vibes of Sahara Lounge,
one of Austin's oldest venues, meet new friends with Sahara's diverse, fun crowd and large back
patio! Affordable drink menu and specials each month.
🔆
@nnedimmaya (10pm) Trance/Dance/African 🌿 @addaxband (11pm) Desert Blues
🌿@freeblooandthefreak (9pm) @the_harms (8pm) 60/70s influenced Psych Rock🌿

Nnédịmmáyá (10pm - headliner) This month features one of Austin's
coolest. Nnedimmaya loops their bass and haunting vocals to create an
entrancing atmosphere. They use instruments indigenous to Africa and
South America to create counterpoint that feels ancestral and spiritual.
When accompanied by tracks, Nnedimmaya also shares songs they've
collaborated on with producers that guarantee a good dancing time!
Nnedimmaya has been in amazing Austin projects like their own Trouble in
the Streets, as well as Golden Dawn Arkestra, and many collabs.
🔆
Addax (11pm) Love the sounds of desert blues bands like
Tinarriwen? This is Austin's own desert blues trio with a Texas twist.
Desert Blues via Central Texas. Addax plays Saharan Blues filtered
through the lens of three American musicians.
🔆
FreeBloo&TheFreak (9pm) Class conscious rap nonsense. FB&tF is a
ragtag band of rapscallions with an affinity for weird shit. A folie a trois of
diverse diasporic origins seeking sounds that excite the senses. A radical
rap triio channeling their lived experience as the basis for communal
poetics, rooted in the sonics of solidarity.
🔆
The Harms (8pm) The Harms celebrate their 1st single (Lion Tamer out
9/18) from their new album, Walking the Beast. The quartet fuse
psychedelic rock with ’60s and ’70s soul, garage and surf. Their new album
was recorded with Beto Martinez, Lechehouse music.

It’s like 700 degrees today in TX, my guitar is a little out of tune, and I think I’m growing another chin. Nonetheless, here is a new @addaxband song idea. #austinmusic #desertblues #psychedelicmusic

There’s a slew of new music out today and also in last couple of weeks from artists we’ve had the pleasure of working with here @lechehousemusic. Not to mention that this batch is all so vastly different from each other, I’m proud of the work and grateful for the opportunities. Give a listen and support these talented artists when they play live. There is much more to come, stay tuned! @elbigtoe
