Bella Cullen and Addi Amos went to work yesterday at the Missouri Border Brawl, and these two definitely didn’t shy away from competition.

Both girls wrestled Greta Rotten, a German age-group National Team member, and Cassidy McAllister, an Iowa State Champion who is currently ranked #10 in the country at 100 lbs.

Bella came out swinging, teching Rotten in her first match before taking on McAllister in a wild one. Down 5-8 with about 20 seconds left, Bella hit a huge takedown and picked up the back points to come all the way back and win it 12-8.

Addi got the job done against Rotten as well, pinning her, and then battled McAllister in another tight one, falling 6-8.

These are the kind of matches you want to see before high school season. Something tells me Troy Buchanan is going to have some problems for people this season.

Missouri Border Brawl - @missouri.borderbrawl

Purler Girls: Isabella Cullen, Addilyn Amos, & Emma Faszold competed in it.

Bella & Addi both wrestled two very tough girls from Waukee, Iowa. Bella & Addi have improved tremendously and are 2 of the most dedicated girls I coach. Bella picked up a win against the #9 ranked wrestler in the country in exciting fashion. Great win for Bella.

Emma wrestled a very tough match and is continuing to improve and get better. She will be right on time we have no doubt about that.

Thank you to @mirikitanidavid @missouri.borderbrawl for another great event.

Sneaky way to put your opponent on their back.

The more skill you have, the more dangerous you become.

Progression > over podium

I posted this late because it took me a while to realize how I did at fargo doesn’t define me. For a while I thought like I did not do good I failed, etc. but After a lot of reflection I learned how much I progressed in this sport from when i first started freestyle last year. I’ve also realized how grateful I was for the opportunity because a lot of people don’t get to have opportunity. I’m so grateful for all my coaches who believed in me during Fargo and after!

I can’t wait to put more work in and see how the rest of my freestyle season goes!

I also thank God for the opportunity and how he has pushed me to be where I am today.

SUPER 32 here I come
