Finding your fading system.

1. Remove any bulk or larger lengths from top of the fade first you would be approaching the shading part of the fade with your guard number 3 or 4 being mindful of the weight that you kept on top of the head.

2. Making a zero line to start your fading process,

3. use your 1 guard OPEN to separate your FADING from SHADING.

4. to fade from your zero to your one OPEN you’re gonna use your .5 guard (playing with a lever) adjusting to the area that you’re on underneath the 1 open guard.

5. Use your 1.5 guard to blend to the guard that you used to remove the bulk or any larger lengths ( guard 2 or 3 )
the area that blends to the length on top.
