Last night was such a beautiful reminder of what makes the dance community so special. 💜

It was an honor for Make Your Move Performing Arts to host the East Alabama Community Ballet’s National Honor Society for Dance Arts Turnout Reach Out event. We were inspired by the incredible performances from our dancers and so grateful to welcome talented dancers, families, and studio directors from across our community for an evening centered on artistry, connection, and a shared love of dance.

When we come together to celebrate and encourage one another, we all grow stronger. Thank you to the East Alabama Community Ballet for creating such a meaningful event and for allowing us to be a part of it. Here’s to continuing to lift one another up, one dancer, one stage, and one community at a time. ✨

🎥Enjoy this snippet of our very talented MYM young performers and choreographers.

TORO was such an amazing evening of dance!

What a wonderful night celebrating creativity, artistry, and the incredible dance community we are so fortunate to be a part of. It was inspiring to see dancers and choreographers from across our area come together to share their passion and support one another.

A huge thank you to Make Your Move Performing Arts @mymdance for hosting, and thank you to every choreographer, dancer, family member, volunteer, and audience member who made the evening so special.

We are especially proud of our young choreographers for sharing their creativity and hard work on stage. Congratulations to each of you, and thank you to everyone who helped make TORO such a memorable celebration of dance!

Addison, Seeing you light up the stage is always the best💜 A team- Life beyond competitive dance, seeing you lead and seeing the smiles of the dancers you influence is so inspiring🥰. Addison was awarded with the Leave a Legacy like Lily award💛. What an honor🤍

So proud of Avery and Ansley as they worked so hard teaching all season! Loved watching their dancers rock it💜

Super proud of this girl🤩💜. She has always been open to learn and grow! This solo pushed her & she has killed it every time she had the opportunity💜. So thankful for Ethan always seeing potential & demanding her best!!

Today we hosted orientation for the DYW of Lee County Class of 2027 participants!

We were excited to meet most of our participants today and look forward to meeting those who were not able to attend. Mem shared her joy and experience with them, and we can’t wait to watch them shine this summer!

Who would’ve thought that what started out as a choreographing opportunity for @tyrasimonedance for a tiny community performance, would turn into a 3x winning, IDA people’s choice nomination, & national championship winning dance! I can’t thank Tyra enough for not only trusting me but all the girls with her choreography & her creative mind. This dance really changed & opened up new emotions for me as a dancer. I love you Tyra & I can’t say this enough but thank you for inviting me to do this dance 🤍 !

@tayla.sjack , @emma.hugu , @ansleyclaire_ , @bentley.e.darden , @alyss.elainee -> Having the opportunity to be on stage with you girls was surreal & I wish we could do it forever 😆
