our final farewell

my dear friends,

as i write this, my heart is heavy, but full of love, of memories, and of hope. there's a strange kind of beauty in saying goodbye, like the last light of the sun before it slips beneath the horizon. we’ve lived something real, something golden, and no parting can take that from us.
we are still so young at heart. that part of us, the laughter that comes too loud and the dreams too big to fit inside our rooms, that part is forever. and i believe, truly, that living is an art. one we’ve begun to master not with perfection, but with passion. the colors of our lives have never been inside the lines, and maybe that’s what made them so beautiful.
when i think of us, i think of potential wrapped in bliss. we have so far to go and yet, already, we’ve come so far. there’s no telling the mountains we’ll climb, the cities we’ll touch, the hearts we’ll change. we’ve got poems in our blood, stories in our bones, and so much still to give the world.
so this isn't just a goodbye. it's a promise to keep growing, to keep creating, to keep loving as fiercely as we always have. to carry each other in our hearts, wherever the road winds.
for now we part, but this isn’t the end. just a pause before the next beautiful beginning.

with all my love,

brooklyn
