It’s been a record year

The past 2 years at NEO have been some of the hardest, most emotional, and most rewarding years of my life. I came into college one person and I’m leaving completely changed. Nursing school pushed me in every way possible, but it also gave me friendships, memories, and experiences I’ll carry forever.

To my nursing class — we truly became family. Nobody understands what nursing school is like unless they’ve gone through it with you. The stress, tears, exhaustion, celebrations after exams, and all the late nights together somehow made it all worth it. One thing nursing school taught me is how important it is to be intentional with your time and who you spend it with, because when life gets busy and overwhelming, those people become your biggest support system. Some of my favorite memories came from the random nights with the people who got me through it all. It breaks my heart knowing we won’t all be together every day anymore.

Thank you to my family for always being there through every rant, breakdown, and stressful moment, and for constantly holding me together when I felt overwhelmed. I truly couldn’t have done this without you.

So grateful for NEO, my people, and all the memories these past 2 years gave me. 🩺💙
