Lady Cards Basketball….

There aren’t enough pictures, enough words, enough thoughts I could say, show, or think to truly express how you affected me. Unforgettable would be the best way to describe it. The feeling of it being over will forever be the hardest goodbye. The easy games, the tough games, the practices, the wins and losses you brought to me has shaped me into the person and player I became. The girls that you put into front of me that mentored me or I was able to mentor will forever have the biggest place in my heart whenever I think about the sport of basketball. That new or old team, that locker room feeling, the new jerseys and new shoes every year are unforgettable. The newspapers, the interviews, the highlight reels, the pictures, the pressure. The long pep talks, the getting fussed at, the terrible referees, the loud crazy crowds. The everyday laughs and even sometimes tears will stick with me forever. I never wanted you to come to an end, but deep down eventually I knew you had to. These past 4 years being a Lady Card were nothing short of incredible. The countless accomplishments I have been able to achieve here, being all area first team, being all district, being conference player of the year, hitting my 1,000 points are things i would never dream of doing anywhere else. Most importantly winning games with these teams. It has put the bright future right in front of me. The Bird Cage will forever be my favorite place to play. Every girl that is reading this that I have played with, thank you. Thank you for making me smile, laugh, cry, frustrated, excited, passionate. I wouldn’t be anywhere without any of you. My mindset, my passion, my grit, my integrity came from wanting to be the best on the court and win every game, but also being the best leader for all of you and impact you all the way you have all genuinely impacted me. Thank you Jacksonville High School, I will never forget my last 4 years of being a Lady Card. #3 out💔. Go Cards🏀💔!

Finished with 1,500 points, 515 rebounds, 145 assists, 260 steals and many more accomplishments. Thank you for all of the inspiration and encouragement and support from all of you.

such a surreal feeling. this is the day i’ve been waiting for since i was a little girl. it was unimaginable to finally have my ‘senior night’. it came so fast, too fast. the season is far from over but tonight was so incredible. i’m not exactly sure how to feel or what to think but i have absolutely loved my years at the bird cage and the relationships i have made through this team. there are so many more pictures but these felt the most real. the family that i have and the family that i have created with these teams and these girls the past 4 years have changed me as a person and a basketball player. it feels unreal to think my high school years are coming to an end but my journey is far from over. i can’t fathom leaving these girls soon and it being any kind of easy. but these last 4 years and these girls will never not have a spot in my heart. thank you to everyone who came to support me or continuously supports me, you have gotten me to where i am today. i am so grateful to be where i am today. #last-ride #numero3 #senior-night #glorytoGod
