My sister, accomplished yogi! Among so many other impossibly super-competent things; I could never hope to compete. (But I still intend to win...) She blows me away.

✨INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT: STEPHANNIE PERRIN✨

Steph teaches Yin at BeU—her yoga home. Her practice began back in 2004 in the very same room she now teaches in, long before it became BeU.

Outside the studio, Steph is a licensed Clinical Psychologist working full-time at a Contract Research Organization. She’s also a lifelong musician who sings and plays piano, guitar, and even a bit of banjo and mandolin. When she’s not working or teaching, you’ll find her traveling or spending time with her two daughters, family, and friends.

Steph has a deep passion for mindfulness, meditation, and the grounding power of yoga. She hopes to share even a small piece of the peace this practice has given her with every student who comes to their mat.

Happy birthday to my amazing mom, who — as my nieces will readily tell you — remains a majorly forceful pain in the ass *and* a source of great joy (even if they won’t admit it) 82 years later. The sidewalk-chalk bombing is courtesy of said reprobate nieces.

We were not, in point of fact, in Argentina. But the moment was what the moment was … and it felt right, so.
