THAT’S A WRAP!!! After four years I completed my B.S.C. in Broadcast Journalism at Miami and ABOVE was the final moments of our final JMM 527 UMTV News broadcast.

The class’s focus was to maximize our 2 hour and 45 minute period to create a 15-minute TV news show that would air LIVE every Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. Every week had its twists and turns and I could not prouder of my entire class for getting through this semester, all graduating for The U!

Officially a @univmiami alum!
Today, I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science of Communications degree in Broadcast Journalism and Media Management. I never had a “dream school” growing up, but the moment I stepped onto the UM campus my senior year of high school, I knew it was the place I was meant to be. But I learned a dream school isn’t about where you want to be, but what you want to accomplish. 4 years, 2 majors, 3 executive board positions, 2 internships, 1 fellowship, and 1 part-time job later, my college experience exceeded every dream my younger self could imagine. Thank you to my family who supported all of my endeavors, my professors, advisers, and mentors who never stopped encouraging me to keep learning and improving, and my friends who walked beside me through every step of this journey. It’s all of you who made these 4 years the dream I never want to wake up from.
Here’s to a chapter I’ll never stop celebrating! It really is, and forever will be, all about THE U💚🙌🧡
