from my first plié to my final bow,
thank you, dance 🤍🩵

for being my first love and the biggest part of my life—my hardest goodbye.

after 15 years, the girl who once could barely step on stage danced at her final recital. i never would have known how much dance would shape me. not only did dance allow me to grow as a person, but it has pushed me out of my comfort zone, helping me gain the confidence I never thought I would’ve had without it.

thank you @bwitnystarr and the rest of the staff at @starrdancenj for granting me an experience I never once took for granted. I could have never imagined it any other way. all of the memories and lasting friendships are some I will hold onto forever. I thank each person that has come along this journey with me. I honestly have no idea how else I would have spent so many hours that were spent in the studio, or how I would have overcome so many difficulties along the way. dance is literally my life, and I’m going to miss it more than anything. thank you for making this place feel like a second home 💖

I haven’t figured out what my life is going to be after this chapter, but I refuse to let dance go. this isn’t the end of dance—just the end of this chapter.
now one final dance at nationals… 🩰✨
