The summer I saw the Lord work in miraculous ways 🙌🏼!

WOW. Going into this month I expected it to be completely different but Jesus came through and taught me to be content with change. The hardships I faced, good times I had, laughs and even cry’s, He was there, and He gave me the most amazing group of people to do it with.

I wanted to go and learn how to express the love of the Lord in ways I never knew were possible, and just that I did. I watched so many kids turn there chair around and say YES to wanting a relationship with the Lord! Being apart of this community, whether it be making milkshakes or praying for every single group we encountered, is truly one of my biggest blessings.

Thank you Jesus for the gift of life! The gift of knowing you, and making you known.

Click, Click, Pull, Pull🪢

These past two weeks I had the opportunity of serving the Lord at Rockbridge! I was able to work with my Capernaum friends on the ropes course, swing and tower! I had the privilege of learning the Lord more than I did coming into the session, I learned how to relay on others, and the Lord in times I only wanted to relay on myself. During this time I learned how to lean on the Lord all over again- through needing patience, or energy, or even just joy. The Lord continues to show up and provide in the hard and good times :) I gained life long times friends, sisters and brother in Christ and for that I am beyond grateful for this and the opportunity I was given!

John 13:34-35:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Jesus led me straight home. I couldn’t be more grateful for my experience and the people I met along the way. I got to watch 339 kids turn their chair. I got to worship deeply everyday. I got to experience friendships I hope to maintain forever. All thanks to Jesus Christ my savior. All glory to God!

Got to spend the past two weeks serving the Lord and His children with all my friends, new and old. I learned so much through these people about laying down one’s life for one another and going on mission together. Forever grateful for this experience and hope I never forget the people, memories, and laughter!

Philippians 2:1-5
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, any comfort from His love, any common sharing in the Spirit, any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one of mind and one in spirit. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests, but each of you to the interests of others.
