Officially, my marching band season comes to an end. me and that darn trumpet did it.

I'm not sure if this season will be my last season marching ever, but it is my last season in the Marion Marching Band. All though this program has had multiple ups and downs throughout the 4 years i've done it, the one thing i've always loved is the people. Thank you so much to my friends, you all made this class worthwhile and I loved spending time with you all on comp days. I am truly going to miss this group as I do every year.

I wanted to give a special shout out to my section. Trumpets, there are times where we are the most annoying section. but i've always loved being apart of it. My greatest relationships have thrived just from the factor of being in the same section and I couldn't be happier for them. I love you all so much and you guys have made me want to continue to do band in hopes of finding people like you. You all are so unique and funny- it's truly hard to put the emotions I feel into words when it comes to you losers. I couldn't have gotten through the worst rehearsals without the light you all bring. I'm very thankful we've all clicked this year just like previous years. Thank you trumpets.

To Addy, my twin. I feel as though I have to make a certain thing about you. Thank you for sticking with band for as long as you did. I know you hate it and our God forsaken instrument. But i'm really happy to have had you there with me for every step of the way. I remember when we couldn't even play an in the staff A. and now here we are, playing notes that we couldn't even fathom back in middle school. It's crazy to see our progress, and it's even crazier to know we were right next to each other (literally) for all of it. Thank you for being apart of my life and my journey to loving my instrument. I couldn't have done anything without you there.

I am so beyond blessed to have had 4 amazing seasons of marching band where my love only flourished. Thank you to everyone who's ever been apart of this program. I will hold these memories forever.

Hi! I’m Addy and I’m fully committed to ISU after high school! I am going to be studying FDM and performing arts next fall. I love shopping, listening to music constantly, watching movies, reading, going out but also having a night in, and hanging with my friends! I’m so excited for this chapter!

One week. Countless memories. 💙

So grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Huddle Leader for Huddle 8 at Summer Games this year. Watching campers grow, build friendships, laugh nonstop, and encounter God in new ways was such a gift. This week reminded me that God works through every conversation, every game, every worship session, and every moment in between.

Thank you to everyone who made this week so special—my amazing Huddle 8, the staff, and all the other huddle leaders who poured so much into these campers. Already looking forward to next year! 🙌☀️ @sgucamp
