Look at how cute the frog and gecko are in the last photos!!! So cute! I love the everglades. We saw a big python, some gators, lots of owls, a bobcat, several possums, lots of gar... there's so much wildlife.

It's that time of year where night time snook and tarpon fishing gets popular, because no one wants to be fishing when the heat index is 111F in the middle of the day. Fun sunset cruise to Peanut Island then we lost a shark, put a few tarpon in the air, and found a LOT of big snook!

Christmas post. This Christmas was made possible by so many people. Being displaced- then displaced again Christmas week to the lake- now back to our air bnb close to home. It’s been a lot. But there was love. There were six beautiful children who didn’t have to share their beautiful smiles and stories- but so glad we had that. And oh my heart aches for the South Florida girl. She finally came home.. and home is a construction zone. But oh how she made me smile by being here. Now to make it to South Florida and fly her up as soon as the house is done.

Great night in the glades. 1 bobcat, 1 panther, 1 watersnake, 100+ gators, 3 owls, some rabbits that have managed to avoid the pythons. Just need it to get a little warmer for the pythons to get active.
