Senior Spotlight!⭐️

Addy Nelson

After high school, I am going to uvu and rooming with 3 of my close friends

My favorite style of dance hip hop or jazz

My favorite drill team memory is when they announced that we would be moving on to state during semi finals this year

My advice for new drill team members is that the best thing you can do to make your year better is show up to practice with a good attitude

wow.
never thought this day would come.
i don’t think i have the words to explain how amazing these last 4 years have been even through the ups and downs!! i have made the greatest friendships and have learned the best life lessons through drill!! drill truly has shaped who i am today and i’m not sure what i’m going to do without it.
to my team: i love you guys seriously more than anything in this world i would do anything for you guys!! you guys are the ones that got me the motivation to get out of bed when i didn’t wanna do one more day of it! i’m gonna miss the early mornings, late nights, talking while cleaning dances for hours, almost peeing our pants about the stupidest things. i’ll always be cheering you guys on!!
love you guys so so much!!
to my coaches: you guys don’t even know how much you’ve impacted me not just for coaching me and helping me achieve my goals! but also just being someone i can trust you guys truly have shown what a coach is supposed to be and i don’t know what i would’ve done without you guys this year!! i love you guys!!
to my family: you guys have been here since day 1 you guys are my most favorite people in the world and have been the greatest supporters ever. especially to my parents thank you for EVERYTHING your hard work has allowed me to be able to do what i love for the last 15 years and i seriously could never repay you guys for all you’ve done!! i love you guys soooo much!!!

even though this era has come to an end and may be one of the hardest things ever to imagine life without i know there is so much more to come!!
I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!! 🥹💗🤟
