History.

Field Softball, where do i start? From going undefeated on JV (two years in a row), making some of my best friends, to a historical run to the STATE FINAL FOUR senior year. The doubt; the number one fuel that pushed not only this team, but me to get back from what i thought was a season ending injury- is the reason that we made it this far. Although we wanted to bring it home, there is no replacement for the joy that this year has brought me. This program accomplished so many things that was never thought possible. My teammates: i will forever cherish this final season; as this year was truly special. Field softball has left an impact on my life i will forever remember. After 14 years of my life, this chapter closes on one of the best marks it could have ever been. #23 signing out.

Road to the 2026 State Softball Tournament: Field Falcons

After losing 9 seniors, the Field Falcons softball team has overcome all odds to reach the Final 4. Led in the circle by junior Adrianna Berry, and 5 Seniors (Averi Weis, Lilli Sutkowy, Carly Eldreth, Addy Lay, and Sophia Roberts).

Down to their final 3 Outs in the District Finals, the Falcons walked off Streetsboro, defeated Lakeview in the Regional Semis after an Averi Weis triple and a huge double-play catch by Gracie Hoskin, and exploded for 15 Runs en route to a 15-5 win over West Geauga for the first Regional Championship in School History!

Lilli Sutkowy was 3/4 w/ 3 2B & 2 RBI. Gracie Hoskin 3 hits & 2 RBI. Sophia Roberts 2 hits & an RBI. Averi Weiss 2 hits & 3 RBI. Addy Lay & Bri Homan each drove in 2. Adrianna Berry allowed 3 ER in 6 IP w/ 4 K’s.
The Falcons are State bound as they will face Kenton Ridge at Firestone Stadium at 3 PM on 6/5 in the Division IV State Semifinal!
