Road Mile World Champion Team 🥇

rarely in professional running do you get to experience chasing goals or competing with rather than against other people. running is mostly an individual sport, but I have always said my favorite memories were winning championships in college with my teams. now, winning a gold medal at a world championship with team USA, that’s a whole other level.

crazily enough finishing 11th in the world felt somewhat underwhelming for the day, but being in 2nd place at 1k I can confidently say I shot my shot and with confidence like that, one day I’ll be there at the finish. while individually I was left wanting more, taking time to soak in that I was just competing in THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS on MY FIRST US TEAM and finished 11th IN THE WORLD, I’m honestly just proud of myself.

I just lived a dream and I’m coming home with a gold medal I’ll share with these people forever. 💙❤️

2nd in the Worlds Road Mile and 1st in the team scoring for the USA to truly end the season! Finally got to run a race where I left it all out there so very happy with that even without the win. And thank you to everyone who continues to support and cheer for me, it was wonderful meeting so many fans from all over these last few weeks. Now it’s time for a loooooong vacation 😎

And shoutout to @robertfarken for winning! If I was going to lose, I’d always rather it be a teammate.
