Felt absolutely GORGEOUS modeling for @adebyfemi’s fashion showcase. There’s something about stepping onto a runway that makes the little girl in me light up every time!

As a pre-teen, I was selected by a model agency. I was so excited about it so my momma would drive me to New Orleans on the weekends while I dreamed of becoming a runway model. Eventually I was told I was “too short” for runway, but had a bright future in print. Neither of us knew enough about the industry to keep going so I focused on my other loves: dance, gymnastics and sports.

Now everything that started as a little one I am doing as an adult in some form. Funny how the things meant for you have a way of finding you again ✨❤️.

Thankful for every room, every runway, and every opportunity to show up as ALL of who I am.

@adebyfemi it’s always a pleasure working with you.
Your eye is undeniable. ✨

This is what happens when someone sees you, believes in you, and speaks highly of you in rooms you’re not in. The Just Listen campaign was at the heart of a moment I’ll cherish forever. 🥹💜

I’m deeply grateful to be named one of the 100 Women of Excellence in Washington, D.C., alongside so many phenomenal Black women. To the friends who traveled from Atlanta and Los Angeles to celebrate with me: thank you. Your love made this honor even more special.

I also shared exclusive copies of BLACK BOY JOY and highlighted the Just Listen campaign—an invitation to slow down, truly hear one another, and value every voice. In a world that moves so quickly, choosing to listen can create space for understanding, connection, and meaningful change. 🖤📖

God is ordering my steps, and I’m moving forward with faith, gratitude, and purpose. 🙏🏾✨

Excited to announce that @FemiOlaEsq will be recognised at the United States Capitol as one of the 2026 100 Women of Excellence Honorees. ✨

An extraordinary celebration of women making an impact through leadership, service and excellence.

Honoured to be part of it.

Washington, D.C. here we come 🇺🇸✨

With special gratitude to Hon. Erica Thomas for the vision behind this initiative and for creating a moment that brings so many remarkable women together.

And, of course, Ade by Femi had to mark the occasion in its own way… 💜⏭️

Handmade by Ade by Femi in celebration of the 2026 100 Women of Excellence Honorees, our commemorative statement collar was created as a keepsake for women making a difference.

A fashion statement. A symbol of excellence.

These aren’t just amazing models. They’re women with full lives.

1. A TEDx speaker, doctorate holder, published author and HR executive.

2. A risk-management consultant, entrepreneur, cancer advocate and amazing photographer.

3. A fitness coach, entrepreneur and trainer.

And yes — they model too. 🔥

Different women. Different careers. Different lives. All multifaceted.

Because no woman is just one thing.
Her clothes shouldn’t be either.

That was the heart of Ade by Femi’s presentation at the @UnitedWayAtlanta Women’s Cabinet Kickoff at @buckheadartcompany — clothes designed for all the women one woman gets to be.

Grateful to these incredible women @_ashleyalittle @iam.angelakearney @electrik_fit for bringing that story to life.
