El pasado 13 de octubre se inauguró “Reconstrucción Existencial: Repeticiones, derivas, memorias y silencios”, muestra de resultados del programa VISOR2025 en la Nave Generadores dentro del Parque Fundidora. La muestra reúne el trabajo de Melisa Cespedes Avendaño, Frida Raizola Limon, Angeles Gil, Alexander Gracia, Antonio Gamboa, Jesus Treviño, Emilio Rodelo y Vania Soberanis. Con la tutoría y curaduría de Adela Goldbard y Yasodari Sanchez.

Este martes 13 de Octubre se inaugura la exposición “Reconstrucción Existencial: Repeticiones, derivas, memorias y silencios” en la Nave Generadores de @conartenl Esta es la muestra de resultados del trabajo de que se realizó durante VISOR2025, donde exploramos distintas formas de habitar, resistir y reconstruir la vida desde las ruinas del presente. We are happy to announce that starting July 1st Adela Goldbard (@adela_goldbard) became Department Head of Digital Media at @risd1877 adding to her role as Associate Professor of Experimental and Foundation Studies. She will be holding office for the 2026-2027 term as Shawn Greenlee (@s3g) takes on an exciting and very well deserved sabbatical. We can’t wait to step into a new year with such strong legacy by Shawn and continued mentorship with Adela and Mariela Yeregui (@mariela_yeregui) who recently started acting as Professor of the department. Adela and Mariela have co-led the Digital + Media Seminar since 2025 and both have been known for highly stimulating roundtables, assignments, critiques, and group activities in the company of thinkers and makers that continue to reshape and challenge what digital art-making is. ——— Adela Goldbard is an interdisciplinary artist-scholar and educator from Mexico. Member of the National System of Artistic Creators of Mexico (SNCA), she holds an MFA as a Full Merit Fellow in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from the National University of Mexico (UNAM). Goldbard investigates how radical community performances can subvert the imposition of hegemonic narratives, and how performances of violence and destruction can become aesthetic tools of resistance against power. She is especially interested in how collectively building, staging, and destroying has the potential to generate critical thinking and social transformation. Goldbard’s investigation focuses on developing a poetics of violence and a decolonial methodology for participant artistic practice. Recent commissioned projects include a pyrotechnic play with/for the Mexican community of La Villita, Chicago (Gallery 400, University of Illinois, 2019-20), and a socially engaged art project with/for the P’urhépecha community of Arantepacua (FEMSA Biennial, 2020-21). EXPOSICIÓN “TEXTURAS Y COLORES. AFELPADO EN CaSa” Desde hace 14 años el taller de Afelpado del CaSa, fundado por el artista Francisco Toledo, se dedica a producir piezas textiles realizadas con fibras de lana naturales con la técnica de afelpado con agujas y afelpado en húmedo. La exposición “Texturas y colores. Afelpado en CaSa” comprende una selección de los trabajos realizados en el Taller en colaboración con diversos artistas nacionales e internacionales. La muestra reúne piezas textiles que se han trabajado en el taller de Afelpado desde la fundación del taller en 2012, hasta la fecha. Se presenta la obra de Francisco Toledo, Trine Ellitsgaard, Mercedes Gertz, Fernando Sandoval, Adela Goldbard, Mónica Iturribarría, Gary Goldberg, Maddalena Forcella, Taller Lapiztola, Laureana Toledo, María José Cervantes y Alejandro Martínez. “Texturas y colores. Afelpado en CaSa” podrá visitarse en la galería Chalet del CaSa hasta el 26 de julio de 2026. Abrimos todos los días de 10 a 18 horas

9 kwietnia miałam przyjemność wziąć udział w panelu promującym 48 numer Zeszytów Artystycznych (UAP Poznań). Była to świetna okazja do podzielenia się wiedzą o dekolonialnej twórczości Adeli Goldbard @adela_goldbard. Jednocześnie cieszę się, że mogłam zapoznać się z lokalnymi poznańskimi projektami @abc_gallery_poznan i @lotarynska6, słuchając o nich bezpośrednio od osób autorskich. Jeszcze raz dziękuję serdecznie prof. Ewie Wójtowicz i Zeszytom Artystycznym za zaproszenie, a księgarni @gama_ksiegarnia za przestrzeń do spotkania i zdjęcia! 🫶 fot. Kinga Kucharska
