POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We feel so incredibly grateful for what we brought to life with At The Table this weekend.

What began as an idea over dinner became something so much more, and we couldn’t have done it without the generosity, creativity and belief of the people who came together to make it happen.

To all the incredible artists, makers and designers who contributed their work, ideas and stories. Thank you for trusting us with your practice and helping us create an experience that celebrated the beauty of things made with intention.

To Jed and the team at @reformdistilling , thank you for welcoming us into your space so wholeheartedly, and for the care, generosity and thought you brought to every detail. A special thank you to Jed for curating such a beautiful drinks menu and helping bring the evening to life.

To Will and the team at @bills.supperclub , thank you for creating such a thoughtful menu that brought the experience together so beautifully, celebrating local produce through a unique and considered lens.

To @adelaidedesignweek , thank you for creating a platform for ideas, collaboration and creative exchange, and for supporting us in bringing this vision to life.

To @isaac.rural and @samtsoulos , thank you for capturing the experience so beautifully and giving us these memories to hold onto.

And finally, to everyone who believed in the idea, supported us along the way and joined us at the table. We thank you! Your presence and generosity are what made this experience what it was.

At The Table was a reminder of what can happen when we make room for one another, share what we do and come together around something we believe in.

With full hearts, thank you for being part of it.

Love,
Alexis & Eden x

One happy girl. Thanks everyone for welcoming BENCHED with open arms to @adelaidedesignweek

The purpose behind BENCHED was to include a more diverse range of makers, engage the public with design and ultimately have some fun. This was achieved through a brief of a bench seat within the parameters of 1200mm(W) x 450mm(H), with a production budget (and sale cost for some) of $450. The result was 45 bench seats from local and interstate creatives from varying disciplines, each bringing their own unique contribution to the show.

Over 3 days, BENCHED welcomed over 1000 visitors. It was an absolute joy to see how the public responded to the benches. The response was far greater than I could have ever hoped for, and the humble bench seat became quite a spectacle. Having the public interact with the pieces was always a bit of a risk, but ultimately good design should be accessible and allowable for all.

There is a lot more thanking to come, but I can’t wait for next year already.

Photos and graphic design by @dwellssmith. Couldn’t do it without you.
