📍some of the faces of @wherewearemusical at @overturecenter via @capitalcitytheatre !!! This was a really special one. Finally down to earth after WHERE WE ARE wrapped its world premiere (!!!) which felt a whole lot like having my guts on display. So grateful for the brilliant artists, designers, crew and creatives who brought this production to life, for the friends & family who made the trip, and for the folks at Capital City Theatre for believing this thing was worth taking a chance on. Also swipe to the end to see the professional milestone @stefanschallack and I may never recover from !!! Photos by Mark Frohna

Spineless turns two! In our second year, we made it through a successful rebrand to The Future Films of 4K, we maintained a consistent schedule of fabulous guests, and we discussed a wide range of wonderful films from the obscure to the iconic. Thanks to everyone who joined us for an episode, as a guest or as a listener—you make this show a joy to do! We’re celebrating our 2nd anniversary with a special episode available now on all platforms. It’s the Spineless Anniversary Swap! Nick and Brennan each present three 4K releases from their personal collections, reviewing the transfer of the film and any special features included. Brennan tells us all about Synapse Films’ edition of Suspiria (1977), the Italian release of the currently-Spineless-in-North-America Megalopolis (2024), and Criterion’s new edition of Network (1976). Nick walks us through the underseen Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel (1979) distributed by Deaf Crocodile, Criterion’s edition of Malcolm X (1992), and the out of print steelbook of The Incredibles (2004). PLUS, Nick plans an anniversary surprise for Brennan by inviting two unexpected guests onto the show for the very last segment. Brennan is really shocked and it’s quite funny. You won’t want to miss the Spineless Anniversary Swap! Listen now, share, and leave us a review to help us grow the show even more in year three! #spineless #anniversary #4k #theincredibles #malcolmx
