9:30 sharp, they said. 😂🇮🇹

Two hours later we finally heard something coming up the road…

Our Sicilian Tractor Man had arrived.

Except he appears to have brought a tank. 😭🌿

Suddenly our two little strimmers felt slightly inadequate.

Apparently the first step is switching it on… 😂🤦‍♂️

Our first proper project at the €52,000 Sicily house got off to a very professional start.

38 metres of fencing to clear and make safe… and we couldn’t even get the trimmer started. 😭🇮🇹

Eventually we got there.

New episode tonight at 19:00 CEST on YouTube! 🏡🇮🇹

Coming from London, our instinct was to fill every bit of land at our new house in Sicily with plans. A vegetable garden, a yoga deck… always something. 🌿

Then it hit us: you can just leave space to be space. You don’t have to fill it with stuff.

The full property tour is live NOW on YouTube! 🇮🇹 Head to the link in our bio to explore with us.

WE BOUGHT THE HOUSE. 😳🇮🇹🏡❤️

After driving all the way from Sweden to Sicily, falling in love with this little corner of the island, and then coming back with a €30,000 house-hunting budget…

We somehow ended up buying the one house we couldn’t stop thinking about.

A 100-year-old Sicilian country house.
Sea and mountain views.
30+ olive trees.
An old donkey stable.
A pizza oven.
A LOT of potential.

And apparently… a lot more work than we remembered. 😂

The asking price was €65,000.
We paid €52,000.

Tonight’s episode is LIVE NOW on YouTube and we’re taking you inside for the first proper look since getting the keys.

And Ira’s face when we walk in pretty much says it all. 😂

“We Bought Our Dream Sea View House in Sicily… For €52,000?!”

What have we done?! 🇮🇹😂❤️

Tonight’s episode is now live — and as promised, we’re house hunting in Sicily… with A LOT of houses. 🏡🇮🇹

But this is the one we couldn’t stop thinking about.

A country house in the Sicilian mountains, surrounded by olive trees, with space for both our families… and that view. 🌊⛰️

The full house-hunting episode is now live on YouTube.

Would you choose the countryside dream house, or one of the cheaper townhouses by the sea?

4,000km across Europe.
Three weeks living together in an old Land Rover.
Sweden to Sicily. 🇸🇪🚗🇮🇹

So naturally, we had some VERY important questions to answer… 😂

🍦 Best gelato?
😴 Worst night’s sleep?
👀 Biggest argument?

Tonight’s episode is a little different — we’re looking back at the entire road trip, the highs, the disasters, the things we’d change… and whether it was all actually worth it.

We Finally Made It to Sicily… Was It Worth It?

This was only ONE of the breakdowns… 😅🚗💥

4,000 km.
Two friends.
A $3,000 old Land Rover.
Sweden to Sicily. 🇸🇪➡️🇮🇹

There were breakdowns, wrong turns, sleepless nights, incredible strangers, ridiculous situations… and moments we’ll never forget.

For the past 28 episodes, we’ve been sharing this road trip piece by piece.

Tonight, for the first time, you can watch the entire story as one film. ❤️

All 11+ hours of it. 😳

WE DROVE FROM SWEDEN TO SICILY… AND DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE 🇮🇹💔

And suddenly… I was on my own. 💔

After three weeks on the road together, driving all the way from Sweden to Sicily, sleeping in the same car, breaking down more times than we’d like to remember and experiencing one of the craziest adventures of our lives… it was time to say goodbye.

I dropped Ira at Palermo Airport and, for the first time since we left Sweden, the passenger seat was empty.

It felt much stranger than I expected. 🥺

🇸🇪🚗🇮🇹❤️

Our final full-length chapter, “We Didn’t Want to Leave Sicily 🇮🇹💔 | Full Story (Journey 5)” is NOW LIVE on YouTube.

Thank you to everyone who came on this journey with us. ❤️

“No sugar, please...” ☕😂
We’re still convinced there was about half a bag of sugar in that coffee... 😅

Just minutes after our gearbox died in a Sicilian tunnel, Ira got a phone call from home… 😭💩🐀

Then our mechanic looked at our tyres.

😳

Safe to say… this wasn’t the news we wanted to hear.
