#lostfiles May 18th, 2019.

Back in the days, if the legendary Tom Konchalski was in the gym or park & scribbled your name in his 📓, and you ended up in his High School 🏀 Illustrated Report scouting notes, that meant you were the real deal & were stamped.

His word was bond, and his words hit their mark. He was filled with plenty of wisdom and was always willing to help those in order to help them advance in their lives.

He was a true teacher in every sense of the word. He was one of the finest evaluators of talent there ever was.

Although it’s been a couple of years since Tom K’s passing, he has left a lasting legacy that can never be duplicated in any way, shape or form.

May he rest in power! 🙏🏿🏀🕊️

Now that my time in college has come to an end, I’ve done a lot of reflecting on my life so far. In these past five years, I have made some of the greatest memories, moments, and friends I will ever have. There were a lot of ups and downs, and blood, sweat, tears throughout my time, and countless hours in the gym and classroom, and I am grateful for every single time I was able to wake up to be a collegiate student athlete and play basketball with my brothers. I want to thank Coach May and the rest of the coaching staff for allowing me to join their team, because the past two years at FAU were the most fun I’ve ever had playing basketball. I also want to thank my teammates/brothers at FAU for taking me in and treating me like family because I couldn’t have continued to get better and be myself without them. l want to thank Coach Hurley and the rest of the UConn family for allowing me to be apart of one of the most prestigious basketball universities in the land and be the start of what it has become today, and I am extremely grateful for spending my first three years of college playing there. I had some of the best memories and experienced so many great things not only as a basketball player, but as a person. Thank you to all of my supporters and fans throughout my time as a college player, I felt all the love every single moment and y’all support means the world to me. And lastly, I would like to thank my family and friends. Staying up late, taking flights, traveling hours and hours on end to support and watch me play the game I love is something I can’t be thankful enough for. I couldn’t have continued to keep going and finish without their help and support. I love and cherish every last person that has been apart of my journey so far, and I hope those people feel the same way about me. Basketball has been something that has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am so happy that my love for the game has allowed me to come this far. Basketball has been nothing but great to me, and I want to continue to give back to the game that I love! THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!!!! 1️⃣2️⃣ out✌🏽🤙🏽
