The effervescent explosion of marks is the common characteristic in todays’ featured works. Stephanie Bing’s expansive expressive painting “Jardin Eden” may be a still life that is anything, but still...there is so much life here! An organized display of form, Stephanie defines every inch of the substrate with thousands of brush-marks, imbuing each object with energy and it almost glistens. Fay Golson allows the character of the paint to lead the way and tell the story in “Meredith’s Bouquet”. The beautiful organic edge of dripping paint helps define the form and she pulls delicate details from pools of paint like an expert gardener with a trowel. Adrian Poole’s “Battle of the Fishes” has a masterful variety of marks with swatches of color layered with small details everywhere. This piece can be studied for a long time and would reveal new shapes and stories with every glance. The layers reveal so much...the background, middle ground, and foreground become one, but look closely and there are unexpected details everywhere...it is a mysterious metropolis of organic data!

Details will be in stories and highlights, thanks for being here!
