Today I choose to be reborn into love as I reimagine and realign with what it means to be truly embodied.

Today I choose radical self trust in the form of encouraging myself to go deeper while also holding space for the parts of me that ask me to nurture them in tenderness and light.

Today I choose self love as I allow the little girl within me to be set free to move and explore however she wants to without comparison, without fear, and with a great deal of self respect.

Today I choose balance. Balance between sensation and ease. Balance between the yin and the yang. Balance between teacher and student. Between healer and client. I choose integration.

Today I choose surrender, celebration, and joy.

Last night I completed my first yoga teacher training with @schoolyogainstitute 🦋 @jeaninetalento @bloom.with.me and @zachbeachlove taught a beautiful 200Hr Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training. Their wisdom and the space they hold is potent and awe-inspiring. I am honored and grateful to be a part of this group and family. I am so blessed to have learned so much from my incredible teachers and my yogi sister queens ✨🔥 This experience changed my life and I couldn’t be more excited to be on this journey. It is an honor and a privilege to bring the healing magic of trauma informed yoga to the people and populations I work with 🦋✨💖 #energyhealing #witchesofinstagram #shamanichealing #energywork #healthandwellness #newhampshire #healersofinstagram #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #smallbusinesssupport #womenownedbusiness

Congratulations to these 18 absolutely brilliant Trauma-Informed Yoga Teachers!

Each time we lead our Trauma-Informed 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, it takes on a life of its own. From the moment this training began in early January, we felt the potency of this group. We felt a willingness and a courage to dive into taboo topics, to stay with the challenging questions, to express the full spectrum of what it means to be alive, to give and receive love, to unlearn and relearn, and to be witnessed in it all. We met from 6am-6pm on Zoom for four full weekends — that in and of itself takes a special level of devotion to this work😉

We have now led 6 groups through our Trauma-Informed 200-Hour YTT! We created it in 2020 in the hopes to fill some of the gaps we once fell into in our own studies of and experience with yoga. Our Alumni have gone on to share yoga in rehab facilities, centers for SA survivors, prisons, community health spaces, psychiatric wards, schools, and so many other spaces where a return home to the body is needed most.

What is trauma? Why are people with ADHD 4X more likely to develop PTSD? How does neurobiology inform our rejection sensitivity and trauma? We covered so much ground here.

“I can’t ask you to do anything.” - my partner to me

Anna and I unpack what is #demandavoidance and how can we help ourselves in it.

How do you respond to your automatic ‘no’ when it comes up?

Check out @motherhoodinadhd podcast to hear tips for Single Moms with Adhd.

Single parenting can be a real challenge and then add ADHD into the mix and it can really make your head spin.

It is so important for Single moms to learn how to make themselves a priority and have healthy boundaries in order to get their needs met.

Treating oneself ,as well, if not better, than they do for those they love. Giving themselves, love, compassion and grace.

When you show up for yourself, you tell yourself that you matter and at the same time provide an excellent model for your children as well!

You got this! Take care of yourself in loving ways and you can get through anything!
