High School ✅

Huge shout out to my brother Cole for getting me into photography and also the people I’ve met through taking pictures, Bentley, Trista, McKenna, Eli, Brent, Adi, Macyn, Ashlyn, I’m very grateful for y’all!

It’s hard to fit 3-4 years into 20 pictures, and also only being able to tag 20, but I’ve picked a few favorites from each sport I’ve been able to go to (couldn’t fit track). Huge Thank you to all of the support I’ve gotten from not only parents but the athletes, it made me want to get better at every event. Last person I want to thank is Mrs Frausto, the Journalism teacher at CHS for forcing me to join journalism!

I’ve been so fortunate to have an amazing support system with friends and family and I wouldn’t change it for anything. ✌️

Dear Canyon Softball, you have given me the best possible highschool athletic experience I could have asked for. I have been blessed to play with the most amazing girls and be coached by the greatest people I’ve ever met. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t going to miss the obnoxious bus rides, hot practices, crazy hotel stays and locker room talks. I want to thank the girls for giving me unforgettable memories that I will cherish forever. I also want to thank Coach Haddock, Coach Unwin, Coach Gutierrez and Coach Shelton for letting me talk about whatever was on my mind whenever I wanted to. Thank you to the parents and family members of mine and the other girls for cheering at every game no matter the outcome. And most of all I want to say stay chill and B.E. forever💟

All good things must come to an end- Geoffrey Chaucer

Words can’t even begin to describe how much softball has meant to me. Throughout the ups and downs of my life softball has been there. It has been my “safe place” since I was a little girl. Every teammate I’ve played with and every coach that has coached me has made an impact on me I can’t even put into words. Thank you to my parents and siblings for always supporting me through it all.

CHS Softball. Going into my freshmen year I didn’t know what to expect. I was a 14 year old girl who was scared of the unknown. Quickly I learned that there actually wasn’t anything to be scared of. I will forever be grateful of the life long memories and friendships I’ve created throughout my 4 years of being in this program. I want to thank Coach Haddock, Coach Unwin, and Coach Gutierrez for not only being the best coaches out there but for putting effort into forming a genuine relationship with not only me but everyone who goes through your program. I also want to thank Nick for letting us yap to him all practice about anything and everything and for helping us control the mental side of softball.

Thank you softball,
#16 signing out 💜
